This weekend, Chris Novak, a.k.a Achronon, invites music aficionados across the electronic and acoustic spectrum to celebrate the arrival of spring with a 5-day electroacoustic jam session gathering @VEWA, Dudelange. Inspired by his background in Anthropology, Cognitive Science, and Consciousness Studies, we investigate music and mind, exploring the creative feedback loop between the two and discovering the inner world of experiences that arise through musicking together.
Incubated in Vienna and nurtured during the USINA Festival 2024, this event has undergone meticulous development and refinement over the summer months. We continue to explore the vision of an electroacoustic live loopers collective, fostering a collaborative environment where musicians of all backgrounds can share their passion and knowledge: Bring your instruments, share what you love, and we shall learn from each other within a carefully curated open space. Guided by the central question – how can we resonate with the potentials that want to emerge – we embark on an immersive journey into the art of musicking as living beings, researchers, and musicians alike. There is one common goal: At the end of this gathering, we will have co-created, together, a song that is the crystallized product of all the jam sessions! This song will be released on SoundCloud and contribute to the collective memory of an extraordinary musical happening within a local community.
Workshops follow the same basic structure each day, beginning at 16:00 and concluding at 20:00. The workshop will consist of three phases:
Step 1 (Arrival & Presencing) Meeting, briefing, and group tuning in the hall.
Step 2: (Flow & Exploration) Installation, synchronization, and musicking in the jam space.
Step 3: (Focus & Integration) Loop extraction, arrangement in Ableton Live, and group reflection.

Skill level is not a prerequisite for participation. All are welcome to join us in this celebration of music and creativity.
